Tents and Engines
Falling asleep while headlights shine right through your tent is no easy feat. Luckily, we were all tired enough not to pay any mind to that. Morning came, and the team gathered for breakfast in the Allego tent at the Le Mans campsite. We're currently enjoying some time in nature while soaking in the sound of racecars revving not too far away.

Across the Finish Line
We may have lost some racers along the way: the highway exits to Paris seemed to have called them. However, at about 10PM, the convoy was reunited at our final destination – the Le Mans campsite. Once our plot was secured and our tents pitched, we reminisced in the events of the past two days, thereby concluding our race from Copenhagen to Le Mans.
Keep an eye on our live updates to find out who won the prizes!

Antwerp Recharge
After having had an actual breakfast, the Allego team made their way from Venlo to an Allego charging location near Antwerp. A quick recharge and a refreshment-restock later, and the team set off again.

Celebrating Partnerships
Ford replaced our breakfast this morning with a feast for the eyes: the new Explorer. The two brand-new cars were on display at the Van Der Valk Hotel in Venlo this morning. Allego and Ford are celebrating our partnership, where Allego will install 300 charging stations at Ford dealerships across Europe.

Neither Rain nor Roadblocks
After a successful charge-up, all racers are on the road, making their way to today’s final destination: Van der Valk Hotel, Venlo. Neither deterred by rain nor traffic, they are on track to complete today’s leg of the race while competing for first place in a Kahoot. Want to track their progress?

Pitstop & Posters
First stop after Danfoss was an Allego charging location just outside of Hamburg. We were greeted with chilled Nocco drinks, Vitamin Well Hydrate water and Allego goodie bags. Participants get to go home with Allego X Le Mans 2024 caps and limited edition vintage Le Mans posters. There were only 150 printed: the hunt for poster number 1 continues…

Danfoss Recharge
Rushing from the ferry’s dock to Danfoss Headquarters in Nordborg, we received a bright red welcome from the Danfoss team. The company’s Head of Sustainability and ESG, Torben Christensen, spoke about the race, saying that the future of EVs is here.
Danfoss recharged us with some lunch, coffee and tea, and then we were off again: this time with an electric truck leading the convoy to an Allego charging location near Hamburg.

Ferry Ride
Our race continues, over land and water. We soon arrived at Bøjden where all 50 of he partipating electric cars were loaded on board the ferry. Once the cars were parked and the ferry took off, we made our way to the rooftop deck to enjoy a live Danish DJ set, refreshments, and soak in some sunlight. We call that a pitstop.

Personalized Kick-off
Allego x Road to Le Mans 2024 found its way onto the FDM Sjællandsringen race track a bit prematurely this morning at 6 AM. Braving the Scandinavian weather, Steven Lau celebrated the team's participation by awarding the drivers personalized car stickers with their names on them for the back windows. The gift was received in good spirit as the racers were eager to mark their rides. Once the cars were upgraded, we got to take them for a spin around the track, driving them the way they were meant to be driven. A couple of laps and a big group photo later, and we set off again.

Copenhagen Convoy
This morning the Allego team rose before the sun did: we take races very seriously. We met at the Copenhagen office at 5 AM to start our journey to the FDM Sjællandsringen track in a convoy. Naturally we had to stop briefly along the way to appreciate the beauty of the convoy in question fully.
